Yep, I’m about to go on a real life rant! You’ve been warned.
Sometimes I wish that life could immitate art just a little more often. And when I say art, I mean spanking video art! Tell me that my real life tale of woe does not sound like a classic spanking video set up.
A few weeks ago I was headed over to a friend’s house when I encountered a road closure due to down power lines and turned down an unfamiliar side street so I could make a U-turn and go another way. I turned around in a driveway and was about to continue on in my travels when my car was sideswiped on the passenger side!
I hopped out of my car and out popped a college aged girl from hers. Our exchange went as follows:
College girl (clutching her phone): “Are you ok?”
Me: “Yes, are you?”
College girl: “Yeah”
Me: “What happened? Didn’t you see me?”
College girl: “No. I got a text.”
Me: “Sigh”
College girl then starts dialing her phone and I ask if she’s calling the cops. She says no, she’s calling her parents so I phone the police and they come out to complete the accident report. I was upset of course, especially as I had only just gotten my beloved car all of 10 days prior and here it was with a mashed fender before I even got the permanent plates. At least my car was driveable though. Hers was not. I figured all would be fine since she hit me and it was due to texting (or reading a text) while driving. Her insurance should cover my damages.
I received a call from my insurance company today saying that due to the vagueness of the police report in which neither party was listed as at fault, her insurance would not cover my damages. AND the girl had the audacity to claim to her insurance that I struck her car which even the agent said is laughable based on the photo evidence of the scene, the placement of the vehicles, and where the damage is located (it would be near impossible for me to back out of a driveway as she claims and hit her driver’s side with the front passenger side of my car … the damage shows that she wasn’t looking, failed to stop, tried to swerve, and sideswiped me so nice try, honey).
Now I’m ticked off. And a ticked off Ms. Wells is not a pretty thing. I can do little as it’s only my word against hers as far as the texting and with unassigned fault, I’ll be stuck with a sizeable repair bill or driving around a crunched up car. Grrr. And this is where I wish I could add a heavy dose of spanking fantasy to this reality and give this texting brat the spanking of her life! Orrrr … go back in time and when her parents arrived on the scene of the accident, they could have given her a good spanking while I look on approvingly. Yeah, yeah, I like that.
Anyone have any real life situations of their own that they wish could be peppered with spanking fantasy? Or if all I can do in this situation is perhaps one day reinact this scenario on video, any suggestions on who should play the texting college brat about to endure my wrath?
