By now, you most likely know how I feel about winter. Snow is pretty to look at and welcome on Christmas, but the cold temperatures are the pits. Well, winter has made an early appearance in the northeastern US and dumped a foot of snow on us this past weekend. As if that wasn’t bad enough, my home was one of the hundreds of thousands to be left without electricity due to snapped power lines. The weight of the snow on unfallen leaves was simply too much and there are trees and branches down everywhere. The estimated date for repaired service in our area is Thursday or Friday! And that’s if all goes well.
So at the moment I have no lights, heat, running water, means of cooking, or any of the other modern amenities. it’s like Gilligans Island moves to the North Pole. It is way too cold in my house to take off the nine layers of clothing I’m wearing let alone put on my sexy vampire costume so my dress up fun and photo time will have to wait until the power company has restored service to my igloo. Trick or Treating is cancelled this year anyway since there are no lights. 
I have managed to find a McDonalds a few towns over that is open and has free wifi to allow me to post the PB updates on the sly. Bless the golden arches for hot coffee, Internet access, and egg McMuffin-y goodness.
Anyway, just wanted to post to say popsicle Pixie here is hanging in, but the fun Halloween update will be a little late due to overly enthusiastic, evil winter. (Boooo … Hissss)
