I’ve met people all along the continuum. Some who fully embrace being a 24/7 lifestyle spanko and enjoy public play, standing a girl in the corner at a restaurant, openly discuss the disciplinary needs of naughty ones, and wear spanking related attire without worry of funny looks from others. On the other extreme, there are those that can barely admit their interest, even to themselves and do their best to push it all away.
I think I’m somewhere snug in the middle. I certainly admit my interest, but I am pretty cautious about who I let know outside of the spanking community. I use a scene name and get a little freaked when my real name and scene name are used interchangeably in various circles. I’ve survived having former coworkers discover my current line of work, but would sooner throw myself in a volcano than have other friends and family find out.
The fantasy of a public spanking or even the whispered threat of being disciplined on the spot is hot, hot, hot. The reality of it, not, not, not.
I have a few playful spanking t-shirts that I’ve gotten at regular ol’ vanilla shops, but I rarely wear them in public out of fear that someone will guess my secret. I also have a few playful spanking panties, but no one is going to see them unless they already know my secret (well, unless I’m in an accident and at that point I’ll have bigger concerns than my poor choice of panties).
I am fully selectively out. Can you think of a bigger oxymoron? Anyway, where do you fall on the “out scale”?
