My husband came home from a trip to the flea market with several treasures. He is a big time collector of a wide range of antiques so I never know what items we’ll be making room for in the house. This week he even brought me a gift, a large floral print, but I was far more interested in a purchase he made for himself.
I immediately thought it was a disciplinary cane and made a valiant attempt to claim dibs on it, but then I noticed it has metal caps on either end. I’m guessing it was used as a pointer? I prefer to think it’s a disciplinary cane simply posing as an innocent pointer, eager for the opportunity to resume its rightful duty of imparting stingy stripes on naughty bottoms.
What’s your guess as to what this item is? I was not successful in Googling a similar cane/pointer with the knobby appearance to help me identify it. Have you ever discovered a fantastic spanking related item at your local flea market or antique shop?
