I’ve been pretty quiet lately as I’m still not feeling well, but I hold out hope that this will pass soon and I can get back into the swing of my normal routine. Especially since spring isn’t far off! The chirping of birds in the morning and patches of lawn visible in between the mounds of ice and snow signal an end to this tough winter. Yes, snow can be pretty and I love it when I’m tucked safely inside with a cup of hot tea and I have no place to go, but I have been stuck on patches of ice, homebound for days at a time, had to cancel numerous plans and appointments, skidded up hills and down, and once completely spun out and plowed into a giant snow bank / guard rail. I’m done. And I’m also looking into getting a car that takes something other than silly sports performance tires and doesn’t object to pulling out of the driveway when there is the slightest cover of snow.
Anyway, my sights are set on Spring! I’ve scouted out a couple of neat new locations that I hope to use for Pixie Pix once things thaw out a bit and my energy returns.
