With the exception of technical issues, I really like video editing. I’m much more of a photo person when it comes to spanking media, but I do enjoy the problem solving and creative aspects of video editing. However, it can be difficult to edit my own scenes. Watching myself on video is 900 times worse than even accidentally hearing my own voice on my voicemail greeting. Ugh!
Not only do I tend to be way more critical of myself than I am of any others on film, but witnessing the spanking itself can be tough. I’ll wish I could turn off the audio and I cringe when I see each blow delivered. I’m glad that my bottom is generally pointed in the opposite direction of my line of vision so at least I don’t have to watch live!
I think the fear is much greater when I see the spanks coming such as when a mirror is used or I’m in a position that I can see what’s coming. And while at least when I’m watching it on video, I’m not getting spanked in the moment, I certainly remember what it felt like.
For tops and bottoms alike, do you ever play in front of a mirror or watch yourself on film (for personal use only or on published video)? Do you enjoy it? Does it heighten the experience or is it more distracting?
