I know I’ve written on this topic before, but as I’ve been editing video content recently, I pick up on the models experiencing the same confusion about kicking and squirming as I have before. Here’s the girl, wanting to create a dynamic scene and trying to convey to the camera just how much pain she’s in. Aside from saying ow, moving her body in reaction to the discomfort is natural and expected so the girl kicks her legs, writhes about, and may even reach her hand back to protect her bottom. Such movement is actually encouraged by the director prior to running the cameras because a scene in which the girl lies there motionless looks weak and is B-O-R-I-N-G!!!!!
But as soon as the scene starts, the spanker has to assert control and show he’s in charge. If the girl is thrashing all over the place and looks like she can overpower the top, the power dynamic is off. Then there’s the genuine concern of injury from high kicks or flying shoes to consider. And from the perspective of the viewer, legs that are not kept down and straight tend to block the ability to see the bottom – a key camera angle when it comes to spanking videos!!
So the spanker commands the girl to be still, don’t reach back, keep those feet down or face some sort of awful additional punishment that was not in the original planned scene. The girl truly does not want to earn additional swats or have her hands or thighs smacked, but she’s supposed to kick … errr right? What’s she to do?
Similar issues arise in private play. Even when there are no cameras to worry about, the right dynamic has to be there to have a good interaction. Orders to stay in position and not block are customary as part of the discipline and to maintain the safety of both the spanker and spankee. But the girl not only has the natural instinct to move, but she wants to clearly communicate to the top that it hurts and is learning her lesson. She certainly does not want to make the spanker think he needs to go harder or extend the punishment to get through.
It’s a tricky one. You can’t dictate every coordinated movement. And discussing every facet of the punishment and expected body reaction prior to play will suck all the fun out of it.
How do you manage the command confusion and communication during play (as a top or a bottom)? And when you watch a video, do you appreciate seeing the girls move around in reaction to their spankings or do you sense weakness on the part of the spanker if he is not succeeding in maintaining 100% physical compliance?
